Minimum Requirements

Financial/Business Tertiary qualification
3-5 years relevant retail/FMCG experience within store operations
Above average MS Office skills, specifically good skills in PowerPoint and Excel

Working knowledge of SAP experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that merchandising and category management standards are implemented and maintained within a store.
Monitor and evaluate the success of the implemented sales promotions in stores.
Analyse sales, net gross, net profit, expense and wage reports to indicate opportunities to improve business.
Monitor stockholding in days cover to maintain a healthy cash flow status in the business.
Investigate reasons for late/non-payment and produce a sustainable plan to get the store back to paying on time.
Motivate the Franchisee and the management team to meet finance and administration efficiencies.
Provide advice on shrinkage controls ensuring alignment to corporate shrinkage process.
Implement corporate controls for ITD, shop-use, waste recording, RTC and capturing of free stock.
Provide advice on how to leverage the current systems and processes to get the optimum benefit to increase the efficiency of the store.
Support Franchisees through retail initiatives and activities.
Facilitate the implementation roadmap of business solution impacting the Franchise community to ensure successful delivery and that adoption is sustainable and maximise the positive impacts on the store.
Manage cross functional conflicts, risks and opportunities associated with new initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the Franchise community.
Monitor compliance to operations manual and communicate any identified deviations to the Franchisee for corrective action.
Ensure compliance to legislation and all regulations governing the operation of the store/s (i.e. food safety, H&S, Licensing, etc.).

Category Manager Online

Minimum requirements

Relevant Degree/Diploma qualification advantageous
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Category Management
SAP &BW knowledge advantageous
Previous experience in the FMCG and or General Merchandise industry will be advantageous
Previous experience within the retail environment advantageous
Proficiency in MS Excel essential

Increase market share –Sources products from national range and in line with category & platform strategies

Responsible for building a strategic roadmap of projects into the IS Enterprise Program
Responsible for defining the scope and approach of the projects within the IS Enterprise Program and building a business case for approval by PnP Executive team
Accountable for the delivery of the projects within the IS Enterprise Program
Responsible for the allocation and management of the project managers assigned to the IS Enterprise Program. Line manager to the delivery team assigned to the IS Enterprise Program – not limited to only project managers.
Responsible for engagement, building and managing the relationship with the business areas of accountability within the Enterprise Program
Responsible for the overall IS prioritization of projects within the Enterprise Program as well as the cross functional priorities together with other programs.
Responsible for managing the interdependencies of projects within the Enterprise Program and other cross functional areas.
