Job Purpose
To effectively provide a service by carrying out the planning, co-ordination and supervision of steel maintenance repairs or projects, including all emergency & unplanned repairs or any other projects to any other Bulk, Gravity and any other reticulation pipelines.
Key Responsibility Areas
Co-ordinates and controls tasks associated with controlling personnel performance, productivity and discipline.
Checks and approves store requisition, progress payment and final accounts for contract works and monitors project costs against job estimates.
Co-ordinates and implements safety policies and procedures.
Monitors/oversees emergency and planned steel maintenance tasks and projects.
Undertakes related assignments and planned shutdowns on bulk and reticulation pipelines.
Attends to process/applications to support the other Departments.
Performs specific administrative activities/tasks associated with the updating and reporting of information and maintaining records relating to the activities/intervention.
