Main purpose of the role:

– Review, write, train and implement procedures / processes / workflows or other, as and when required to ensure compliance with adopted Business Management System (BMS) within the respective DSV warehouse;

– Active participation in audits whether internal, client, statutory or other; • Active participation in non-conformance closure through appropriate implementation of remedial action to ensure robustness of adopted QSHE system;

– Active participation in continual improvement;

– Full participation in waste management while providing support to operational management and / or other;

– Manage all locally controlled business contractors while coordinating training as and when required;

– Proactive engagement within operational undertakings to ensure prompt escalation to relevant manager in the event of system failure and / or operational weaknesses or necessary enhancements;

– Compliance: Must ensure full site compliance, including the following: DSV Policies, Health and Safety Regulations, Processes, Work Instructions, Maintenance Schedules, Audits (internal and external), licences, accreditations,

– Local Authority requirements inclusive of Regulations pertaining to Building/Fire Regulations or similar;

– QSHE Management, including ISO 9001:2015/14001:2015/45001:2018. ISO 13485:2016 advantageous;

Ensure effective resourcing in all departments to deliver the expected services.

Resolution of all IR issues in conjunction with HRM & IR Specialist timeously. Coaching and mentoring of team to achieve client objectives.

Main purpose of the role

To follow the SAICA program in order to qualify

Duties and Responsibilities

The position entails a 3-year training programme as part of the SAICA TOPP Programme where the aim will be to finally qualify as a CA(SA)

The position will involve 3 rotations per year, where 4 months will be spent in a department at a time.

Trainees will also be eligible for sufficient study leave when writing their APC exam.

Trainees will have access to mentors who will support and encourage them during their exams and studies.

DSV will pay for the trainees’ preparation courses and exams for both ITC and APC
